I was able to connect some of my goals to my values. Some goals and values are compatible because in order to reach each and every one of my goals I need to be resilient, confident, faithful, giving, and have integrity. Getting through college is a hard mission to complete in fact some people don’t make it through so for me in order to graduate I need resilience, being able to recover from difficulties. Having confidence in my work and self, displaying my integrity by being truthful in assignments and sticking to the rules by not plagiarizing. In starting my own business resilience is my number one values. Starting a business in the retail industry is very hard because its such a competitive industry so of course there are going to be somethings you fail at and being able to keep pushing through to reach success is the way you become successful. Having confidence and faith in myself is how I plan to keep my business running. Trusting myself with being in charge of staffing, financing, and controlling my business. Integrity in the business world is something not to many people have because of how cutthroat the industry can be. Some people find themselves doing things they never thought they would be able to do just to remain at the top or relevant. When it comes to getting married and having children I have to be willing to fight and overcome each one of my battles, have faith and confidence in being a good mother and wife. Resilience, confidence, faith, and integrity are the values I need in order to help me reach my goals.
